Introducing or changing a final assembly process requires technical planning that works under real space, equipment, safety and production constraints.
As part of my bachelor’s thesis at John Deere, I planned and implemented a new final assembly cell. I worked with manufacturing engineers and shop-floor teams to address layout constraints and production bottlenecks, evaluated the implications of a new harvester model and identified required changes to processes, equipment and tooling.
I developed, tested and implemented tooling solutions and supported pilot builds. The project gave me a practical understanding of how engineering decisions move from analysis and planning into a physical production environment.
